Syfy’s upcoming series 12 Monkeys, based on the Terry Gilliam film of the same name, announced two castings today.
The wonderfully creepy actor Tom Noonan (Hell on Wheels, The Leftovers, Damages) will be playing a villain that is at the center of the 12 Monkeys conspiracy.
Emily Hampshire will be playing Jennifer Goines in the series. You read that correctly, “Goines.” Syfy is going to gender swap the Brad Pitt character of John Goines. To that I say, “Hooray!” It worked with BSG and Starbuck, it can work with 12 Monkeys.
