Calling all Earper creatives! Our fearless Mother of Unicorns a.k.a. Wynonna Earp showrunner extraordinaire Emily Andras posted a video on her Twitter today introducing a fan art contest. We gathered intel from E! News and we can’t wait to share the scoop with you!
So, here’s the deal: Syfy is teaming up with Tongal for a fan art contest wherein Earpers get to design the key art for Season 4 of Wynonna Earp. Andras will serve as judge. The selected winner will score $1,000 along with their art featured across all platforms. In addition, Andras will select five runner-ups. Said runner-ups will receive $100 and may see their art posted on Syfy’s social media accounts. Co-founder and CEO of Tongal James DeJulio had this to say about Syfy fans:
Syfy knows that fans have special powers too. With this partnership, they’re giving fans the opportunity to use their passion and creativity to engage with one of their favorite shows in a big way. Tongal is all about giving creators the opportunity to do what they love, so we’re excited to be powering this experience for the fans and giving them a creative outlet while at home.
Now, this is the third year Tongal has partnered with Syfy for a fan campaign. The deadline for key art submission is Friday, June 26th. For more information on contest rules and regulations, please click here.

The Season 3 finale of Wynonna Earp aired September 28th, 2018. We last saw our heroes in quite the conundrum – Waverly (Dominique Provost-Chalkley) was sequestered away into the elusive Garden. Wynonna (Melanie Scrofano) was left bereft of Peacemaker and the Earp curse was broken. Doc Holliday (Tim Rozon) dived in after Waverly. Oh, and everyone from Purgatory disappeared to an undisclosed location save Wynonna and Nedley (Greg Lawson). Talk about a massive cliffhanger to end all cliffhangers!
Below, you can take a gander at Andras’ Twitter video. Be sure to share your artwork on social media with the hashtag #WeArtWynonna!
Wynonna Earp stars Melanie Scrofano, Tim Rozon, Dominique Provost-Chalkley, and Kat Barrell. Season 4 will air in Summer of 2020.
