Chucky

Firstly, we’ve got good ole Chucky. The cheeky horror comedy wrapped the first part of its third season on October 25, 2023, with its final four episodes debuting in 2024. To get you up to speed, here’s a brief synopsis:

“In Chucky’s unending thirst for power, season 3 sees Chucky ensconced with the most powerful family in the world — America’s First Family, inside the infamous walls of the White House. How did Chucky wind up here? What in God’s name does he want?

And how can Jake, Devon and Lexy possibly get to Chucky inside the world’s most secure house, all while balancing the pressures of romantic relationships and growing up? Meanwhile, Tiffany faces looming execution on death row for ‘Jennifer Tilly’s’ murderous rampage. “

Chucky stars Zackary Arthur, Björgvin Arnsarson, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Brad Dourif, Devon Sawa and Jennifer Tilly. Brace yourself for more bloody shenanigans when our favorite titular murder doll returns to wreak havoc for Season 3 Part 2 on Wednesday, April 10, at 10 PM on SYFY and USA.

Reginald the Vampire

Reginald the Vampire will return for more fangy, hilarious, blood-drenched goodness this year. The series concluded its freshman season on December 7, 2022. Here’s a synopsis per SYFY:

“Reginald Andres finally got his life together when he was turned into a vampire.  While he doesn’t fit into the stereotypical expectations of what a vampire looks like – he’s not chiseled or classically handsome – Reginald has found his place amongst an unlikely cohort that includes the cool vampire who sired him, the former vampire chieftain turned unexpected ally (or is she?) and his co-worker/former girlfriend.

A show with a lot of heart and just enough blood, Reginald the Vampire proves the undead life is just as complicated as life itself. ”

Reginald the Vampire stars Jacob Batalon, Mandela Van Peebles, Em Haine, Savannah Basley, Aren Buchholz, Thailey Roberge and Marguerite Hanna. Watch Reginald and his buddies navigate new challenges (potentially with angels?) and more when the series returns for Season 2 on Wednesday, May 8, at 10 PM, only on SYFY.

The Ark

The Ark, a quirky sci-fi series from Dean Devlin with a retro ’90s feel, took SYFY by storm last year, with its Season 1 finale airing on April 19, 2023. Here’s a synopsis:

The Ark takes place 100 years in the future when planetary colonization missions have begun as a necessity to help secure the survival of the human race. The first of these missions on a spacecraft known as Ark One encounters a catastrophic event causing massive destruction and loss of life. With more than a year left to go before reaching their target planet, a lack of life-sustaining supplies and loss of leadership, the remaining crew must become the best versions of themselves to stay on course and survive.”

The Roman Ireland Agency will continue tackling spooky real estate cases. SYFY has renewed SurrealEstate for Season 3. The delightfully kooky sci-fi/fantasy series premiered its Season 2 finale on December 6, 2023. Here’s a synopsis:

RELATED: Read our recaps for SurrealEstate Seasons 1 and 2 here…

SurrealEstate follows real estate agent Luke Roman and an elite team of specialists that handle the cases no one else can: haunted and possessed houses that literally scare would-be buyers away. Researching, investigating and ‘fixing’ the things that go bump in the night, the team works to create closure, and closings, even as they struggle with demons of their own.”

SurrealEstate stars Tim Rozon, Sarah Levy, Maurice Dean Wint, Savannah Basley, Adam Korson and Elena Juatco. The season will presumably go into production soon (although Rozon’s next project will undoubtedly be Wynonna Earp: Vengeance).
