For 10 years, Girls Make Games has been making video game summer camps accessible to young women interested in creating video games. According to the Girls Make Games website, their mission is “to bring the magic of game-making to girls everywhere.”

So far, they have helped aspiring game developers from 160 cities around the world create over 7,000 games. GMG’s game titles have been downloaded and played over 190,000 times across all platforms. They also have scholarship programs for those interested in pursuing coding and game design in higher education.
