Happy Supernatural Day! How appropriate to celebrate the final Supernatural Day on Friday the 13th!  The CW gifted fans with a final season trailer and poster.

The poster features the boys: Castiel (Misha Collins), Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki), Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles), and Jack (Alexander Calvert)…and Baby in front of what appears to be a stairway to Heaven.  The words, “As it is written, so it shall end” are above the photo. What does that mean? And why is Baby surrounded by fire with a skull on the hood? I can also see a pentagram, angels, doves, and the Winchesters anti-possession tattoo.  This poster is giving me eerie vibes.

Supernatural season fourteen didn’t end well for the Winchesters.  God didn’t get his happy ending so he killed Jack, sending him to the Big Empty.  Then he literally unleashed Hell on Sam, Dean and Cas.  The final season picks up right where the season fourteen left off.  God/Chuck (Rob Benedict) is angry with the Winchesters. He broke down the barriers between Hell and Earth, giving Team Freewill a new battle.

Welcome to the End

In the trailer, the Winchesters realizes all of the evil souls that they sent to Hell are back on Earth, including Bloody Mary and John Wayne Gacy.  They have to find fourteen years of baddies and send them back to Hell. The boys are ready to get to work.  Sam points out that if they win, they are free.  I like the sound of that.

The final season of Supernatural begins October 10, on The CW.  Check out the poster and trailer below.
