Finally, we get some more details about Elseworlds in the first trailer for the Arrowverse crossover. And it appears that Dr. John Deegan (Jeremy Davies) of Arkham Asylum is not working alone. He is getting this power to change reality from a being Mar-Novu, aka The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett), who tells him to show ‘them’ what a god can do.

This year’s crossover will feature the stars of the CW shows Supergirl, Arrow, and The Flash. We’ve known for a few weeks that Dr. Deegan was altering reality. Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) switch identities, and Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist) is viewed as a bad egg. When they find Dr. Deegan, he’s reluctant to give up his power. And this is not the first world that Deegan and the Monitor have altered. John Wesley Shipp returns as another version of the Flash to stop Deegan. But it may be too late because Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) turns bad, complete with the black suit. There’s also a glimpse or two at Batwoman (Ruby Rose). No details on how she fits in all of this though.
