Spooky season may not come until October, but 2K Games and Supermassive Games are bringing the scares with the final release trailer for their upcoming title, The Quarry. During the Summer Game Fest 2022 showcase today, we got the final launch trailer, and it’s everything we needed. These studios know how to scare fans, and everything we have seen so far for this new game proves that they aren’t stopping anytime soon.
The final launch trailer for The Quarry nails the spooky yet comedic style that we have come to expect. The counselors are ready to uncover the mystery of what is going on but not without some trouble, like big hulking men ready to throw you against walls or the friends holding you back. We still don’t know what kind of choices we will have to make, but we can only imagine what will be thrown at us.

The Quarry follows nine camp counselors who get stuck for one more unforgettable night at the end of summer. It’s a cinematic thriller where every choice shapes this unique tale. It is totally possible to accidentally kill a character early on and change the fate of everyone else. It makes replaying this style of game so enjoyable. You never know where a choice may lead and where the story will end.
