The poster seems perfectly in theme — with a bunch of bright colors and nonsensical graffiti acting as a backdrop to the bat wielding psychopath who, we can only pray, refers to the Joker as “Mistah J” or “puddin’.” Dare we dream for both?
After the critically-reviled reception and relatively tepid box office performance for the dark and dour Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, this film is hugely important to Warner Bros. and their DC Films Division. They are looking for a humongous public reception course correct with Suicide Squad, hoping that this film about the bad guys being forced to be good can show audiences around the world that DC does indeed have a fun side and that they can make a solid film.
We’re all crossing our fingers on this one!
