Good news for all you DC fans who are looking forward to Warner Bros.’s upcoming film, Suicide Squad — it’s wrapped production! This is good, as the film hits theatres August 5th, so just about five weeks from now.
Director David Ayer tweeted out earlier today, “Squad is completed! Finished final mix and coloring. Now it’s off to the lab and then the world. Nothing like it out there. It.Is.a.Beast.”

Having it done now will allow the studio to start showing it off and generating some early buzz for it, something the embattled DC Division at Warner Bros. needs in the wake of the critically-panned film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
By all accounts, from the trailers and a few people who have seen unfinished copies, this film does sound more promising for DC films moving forward and is tracking to have a much warmer reception.
After Suicide Squad, what’s next for Warner Bros. — Wonder Woman.
