“We’re gonna have the best spring break ever.”
November 6, 1983 — the day Will Byers disappeared, and the world turned upside down. Happy Stranger Things Day! While we impatiently wait for the fourth season of Netflix’s mega-popular Stranger Things, the streamer rallied together to provide fans with a day chock full of exclusive content.
Thankfully, a teaser entitled “Welcome to California” arrived in time to bless us with new footage of our favorite Hawkins, Indiana crew.

The said teaser ushers us into sunny California, wherein the Byers clan — Joyce (Winona Ryder), Will (Noah Schnapp) and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) — and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) now reside. We hear Eleven read aloud a letter she wrote to Mike (Finn Wolfhard) while she paints a figurine of Hopper. She cheerily informs him it’s “Day 185, and I think I have finally adapted.”
We see shots of Eleven and the Byers attending school and adjusting to that Cali lifestyle. Even though Eleven tells Mike she has many friends, we see these so-called “friends” bullying her. She gushes about how she can’t wait to see Mike for spring break.
Of course, it can’t all be sunshine, tasty waves and a cool buzz. The back half of the teaser reveals the usual sci-fi shenanigans and thriller elements we’re used to seeing in Stranger Things, including an explosion, Murray Bauman (Brett Gelman) and a group of men subduing Eleven.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a release date for Season Four, but here’s hoping Netflix offers clues so that we can piece the puzzle together.
