If you thought Netflix and Matt and Ross Duffer were going to remain quiet as we inch closer to the release of Stranger Things season four, you thought wrong. Today, they took to Twitter to share three new posters. They are styled similar to the one of El (Millie Bobby Brown) released at the end of April. But this time, we are getting a front-row seat to see Hopper (David Harbour), Joyce (Winona Ryder) and Murray (Brett Gelman).
Since our first glimpse last year, season four of Stranger Things has had us on the edge of our seats. Season three left us with many unanswered questions, including whether Hopper was still alive. And from all of the trailers and posters, it is clear that he is. He might not be in the safest place, but Hopper made it out of that underground facility, still breathing. Eventually, Murray and Joyce do find him and it seems that they will make up one of the smaller team-ups in season four.
But just how will they get to Hopper? That is the real question. All of the trailers and posters for season four are giving us the impression that we will be watching the crew dive into the Upside Down. Maybe, just maybe, they find a way to use it to travel across the world of pop-up right in the middle of this work camp he seems to be stuck in. The fourth season is split into two volumes and has us believing that the Joyce/Murray/Hopper partnership isn’t going to happen until the very end of volume one or the beginning of volume two.
Stranger Things season four will drop volume one on May 27, 2022. Check out the new posters below! What do you think is going to happen for this crew? Let us know your theories in the comments below and on social media!
