STRANGER THINGS 4 Drops Five New Posters and Big Release Reveal

Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Hopper (David Harbour) in Stranger Things.

Things have been quiet on the Stranger Things front until today. And in true Netflix fashion, the streaming service quietly dropped five new posters for season four onto Twitter. Clearly, the internet is now having a field day. The posters themselves seem relatively straightforward, but we know better than that. Matt and Ross Duffer are giving us more than we could have ever asked for with these two images.

We should have known that we were going to get something new today since a billboard was spotted yesterday featuring “Every Ending Has  A Beginning” on it but upside down. The first new poster for Stranger Things season four is titled “Russia. Getting the band back together. Bring a jacket,” which is set in Russia. In it, we see Hopper (David Harbour), Joyce (Winona Ryder) and Murray (Brett Gelman)! The trio is back and heading towards a portal.

Official tweet from the Stranger Things twitter.

An easter egg from season three happened to be Murray’s number and when called, we learned that Joyce and Murray are still working towards something. And it seems that they might have been trying to figure out what actually happened to Hopper, which brings them to Russia. With love, of course. The easter egg still works, so if you dial (618)625-8313, you can still have Murray rip into you and call you a parasite. Yes, I called it. Twice.

The second poster titled, “The Lab. Every story starts somewhere.” is of Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) walking through the halls of the lab, heading towards a portal and what we think will eventually lead to the Rainbow Room. The drastic difference between the two posters is that in this second one, Eleven is alone. And while I don’t think she can handle herself, I am a firm believer that this isn’t something she should be going through alone.

The third poster, titled “Creel House. Tick-Tock.” features Steve (Joe Keery), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Max (Sadie Sink), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Robin (Maya Hawke), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Erica (Priah Ferguson). They are inside what looks like the attic of Creek House and heading towards their own portal. These portals popping up everything can’t mean anything good. And then, the final poster titled “California. Hold onto your butts, brochachos.” features Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) and Will (Noah Schnapp) alongside two characters we saw in the California trailer. And you guessed it; they are heading towards a portal.

And then finally. The fifth and final poster features every one of them heading towards a big portal and a release date! Season four of Stranger Things will drop in two volumes. The first is May 27, 2022, and the second on July 1, 2022. Finally! We’ve dropped all five posters for you below to enjoy along with a message from Matt and Ross! What are your theories for this final season? Let us know in the comments below and on social media!
