Netflix’s debuted the official trailer for Stranger Things 3 today and it makes me wish it was summer time already! Young love, new friends, new adventures…Steve’s hair. It’s all so exciting!

The trailer does feature a lot of great times to be had, but this is Hawkins and you know there’s something bad waiting to happen. It’s not long before we find out there’s a new bad guy and a new monster.

What was really noticeable to me was the new friendship between Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Max (Sadie Sink).  It’s good to see Eleven experiencing girl time instead of always hanging out with those boys! Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), and Will (Noah Schnapp), Eleven, and Max are a little older now, so their interests are changing.  I get the feeling those changes have a huge effect on Will the most.  Or maybe his mom Joyce (Winona Ryder)…she doesn’t look like she’s very happy.  Neither does Jim (David Harbour).

And it wouldn’t be Stranger Things without Steve (Joe Keery), Nancy (Natalia Dyer) and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), who have to work now that they are older. Steve has the best job ever…working at an ice cream parlor in the new Hawkins Mall.  Billy (Dacre Montgomery) is still around, working as a lifeguard at the local pool.  I wonder what kind of shenanigans he has planned.  We even get a glimpse of newcomers Maya Hawke, Jake Busey, and Cary Elwes as Hawkins’ mayor.

And then there’s that monster…why do they always have to be so gooey.  Gross! Anyway, check out the trailer below.
