While summer time is ramping up, Steven Universe fans are keeping their eyes glued to the fall. Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we now have a poster to hold us over (or at least get fan theories ramping up). The poster shows us our heroes along with the new villain looming menacingly behind them.
Details on who this new menace could be are being kept very secret. We heard their evil giggle in the teaser for the film along with the upside down heart-shaped gem that’s displayed prominently on their chest. All we do know is that Steven have a hard time with this new antagonist. The official tagline reads: “Steven thinks his time defending the Earth is over, but when a new threat comes to Beach City, Steven faces his biggest challenge yet.”
With that tagline also comes the question – is there a time jump? Since it says that Steven thinks his time defending Earth is over…what’s been going on in Beach City? Ahh, there’s so much to think about! In the mean time, check out the poster below and let us know what you think!
