Though it started humbly as a Star Wars celebration day among the fans, May the 4th has evolved into a geek holiday. Star Wars Day has officially been embraced by the mainstream and commercial marketing definitely proves this point. However, this isn’t a bad thing! This year, buried among the Star Wars character shop and deals, Target has a small collection of fan freebies!
At first glance, Target customers subscribed to the company’s newsletter would never know to look for downloadable PDFs. The links to the May the 4th fun are dropped in below the collectibles and Target exclusives on Target’s Star Wars topic page. Keen-eyed customers are treated to a collection of printables including a coloring book, a few pages of mazes, a book of crafts and a mini recipe book!

Fun for all ages
Not only are the Star Wars freebies a fun way to keep your little ones occupied, but there’s also educational content as well! Inside the Crafts & Activities PDF, small force-wielders are guided to learn their A-B-Cs alongside R2D2 and C3-PO. The older Jedi may find the mini-cookbook of more interest. There are snacks like the Millenni-Yums, breakfasts like the Snowtrooper Toast and desserts like the Pilot Pies. They all look delicious to me! There’s also a multitude of coloring pages that’ll calm even the most petulant Sith lords, no matter their age.
To find the freebies, look for the row of activity files we’ve screen-grabbed below. If you do color one of the images or make one of the crafts, tag us or let us know in the comments. We would love to share in your Force-filled celebrations! May the 4th be with you, today and always!
