Star Wars: Rebels will return to Disney XD January 20th and the teaser for the mid season comeback is super exciting!
There will be several amazing appearances including a young Princess Leia and a cameo from Darth Maul. Ezra seeking counsel from Yoda and what looks to be a huge showdown between Ahsoka Tano and Darth Vader, her former master.
Here’s what Dave Filoni had to say about Ahsoka’s appearances to Entertainment Weekly:
I like a lightsaber fight like anybody, or a big action sequence like we’ve done in the past, but I always find that those have little meaning if you don’t have the emotions going into it to support it — you don’t have the tension and the stakes, There’s some really powerful scenes coming up for fans involving Ahsoka.
