We’re finally getting some news from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Thanks to StarWars.com, we learned that Respawn Enterainment will be bringing a first look at the game soon. So soon in fact that it’s coming out in April during one of the biggest Star Wars events of the year: Star Wars Celebration 2019.

According to the site, EA and Respawn Entertainment will be unveiling the project on April 13th during a special panel. Fans and gamers alike will be able to meet the “Padawan who survived Order 66 and explore the galaxy in the time after the fall of the Jedi Order”. So if this is canon, it’s during the events of Star Wars Rebels. The panel will feature a behind-the-scenes look at the game and reveal “never-before-released” details on what’s to come.

EA has not been in many gamers’ good graces as of late. Especially Star Wars fans after they cancelled the open world game set in the galaxy far, far away. I’m still mad about that. However, being able to play as a Jedi is usually every fan’s dream. It’s unclear whether the Padawan in question is a fully established character or will be customizable. If it’s the latter, no one will be able to stop me from getting it and playing it for hours on end. Since we’ve had to wait since it’s announcement at E3 last year, waiting a bit over a month for footage is something I think many of us can live with.

How excited are you for the game? Are you on board or still giving a stink eye to EA? Let us know! Be sure to come back to Geek Girl Authority for more Star Wars news.
