The author, Brandon Alinger, takes us to the archives at LucasFilms to give us a sneak peak at what went into the process of writing this book.
With over two hundred behind-the-scenes photographs and concept art, Star Wars Costumes: The Original Trilogy goes into detail about how these costumes were made and how they actually functioned. This is fascinating because, come on! Every time you watch these movies aren’t you wondering how Anthony Daniels actually got into that C-3PO get up? How’d he go to the bathroom? Is that chapter in there?
