STAR WARS CELEBRATION 2019 Location and Dates Announced

Star Wars fans, this is news we were waiting to hear. Announced today, Star Wars Celebration 2019 got it’s official location and dates and frankly, I could not be more excited. The (somewhat) annual convention focused on fans from the galaxy far, far away got another American location and a spring time date. So when is it?

Start planning your trip now because Chicago is where you’ll be headed on April 11. The location will be a first for the state and an interesting choice at that. Some fans had predicted and rumors swirled that the convention would be back in California so this is a surprise. The all-Star Wars-all-the-time convention will be housed at the McCormick Place for a weekend of fun, announcements and celebrities.

Tickets aren’t on sale quite yet but they will be available to order on June 5th at 12pm CST. The official Star Wars Celebration website is currently down in order to get ready for the massive bombardment that will come for ordering tickets there. If I’m being quite honest, this will be the closest Celebration has ever been to me so I’m pretty dang excited. Can we start getting excited now?
