We’re just a couple of weeks shy of WonderCon 2024, and Star Trek is in the air. Just days before the Star Trek: Discovery season 5 premiere on Paramount+, the Franchise is touching down at Starfleet Archives Starfleet Headquarters Anaheim Convention Center for two panels. Plus, as you might imagine, there are some very exciting Trek creators forming the WonderCon away team.
Star Trek Panels at WonderCon 2024
The first Trek panel for WonderCon ’24 will celebrate Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Specifically, the show-stopping musical episode, “Subspace Rhapsody.” The second panel will feature the Discovery season 5 premiere episode.

The Strange New Worlds panel will feature the first ever sing-along screening of the instant-classic “Subspace Rhapsody.” If you’re anything like me, you’ve been using a lot of shower time to rehearse for just this moment. After the screening, songwriters Tom Polce and Kay Hanley will take part in a moderated Q&A to discuss writing the songs for the watershed episode. This panel will take place on Friday, March 28, 2024, from 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM in room North 200A.
The next day, Discovery season 5’s season premiere will be screened days before the first two episodes of the season are scheduled for arrival on Paramount+. The screening of the episode will be followed by a moderated Q&A with showrunner and Executive Producer Michelle Paradise. She will be joined by frequent Disco episode director and Executive Producer Olatunde Osunsanmi. This panel will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2024, from 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM in room North 200A.
