In a comment made during the Star Trek: Picard Season 3 Television Critics Association panel on Monday, January 9, 2023, series executive producer Alex Kurtzman stated that the stellar show could return for a fourth season.

Picard Season 3 has been widely marketed as “the final season” (including on the teaser poster later in this article). Nevertheless, series star Patrick Stewart confirmed he would consider a return if the quality of work from the first three seasons could be maintained.

Star Trek: Picard Season 4

Kurtzman and Stewart’s comments, quoted by TVLine, made it clear that Picard Season 4 is a hypothetical proposition.

After Kurtzman reiterated that the third season was written as an endpoint, he noted, “anything is possible.” He continued that if Picard Season 3 “blows the doors off the place, as we’re certainly hoping it will […] who knows?”
