2022 was a great year for Star Trek fans. At any time during the year there was, most likely, at least one Star Trek show streaming. We had Lower Decks, Prodigy, Discovery, Picard, and Strange New Worlds – a good year indeed.
With so much Trek out there, how do you find a special, unique gift for the Trekkie in your life without jumping through wormholes? (Although, that would be fun). We’ve put together a Star Trek Gift Guide to find that special gift any Trek fan will cherish during the Holiday season.

Official Star Trek Shop
The Star Trek Shop has a nice selection of licensed merchandise. It’s a great place to get the latest t-shirts (one for every ship!), fun Chateau Picard wine glasses (I have the Chateau Picard sherpa blanket myself), journals, or a wrapped canvas or two. It’s a solid collection of merchandise with affordable prices.
Hallmark Ornaments
One of my favorite thing to do every Holiday is put my Star Trek ornaments on the tree. Then, every December morning, I plug in the tree lights and I hear, “We are the Borg. Enjoy your Holidays. Resistance is futile.” It’s awesome. I also have a transporter ornament that makes the iconic transporter sound and I have one of each main ship plus a Klingon Bird of Prey and a Romulan War Bird. All of my ornaments are from the Hallmark Keepsake Collection. There are many sites that sell these so just Google “Star Trek Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments” to try and find the best deal.
Art
For unique and original gifts, head to Etsy and put Star Trek in the search bar for general results. You’ll find a large selection of art, signs, glassware, clothes — you name it. These aren’t mass-produced items, so the Trekkie that you gift will feel extra special. I received these wine glasses for Christmas one year. They were found on Etsy and I love them. Fun fact: there used to be a red one. I live in California and there was an earthquake. The red one fell to the floor and shattered — just like a redshirt.
Here’s another unique Trekkie offering on Etsy. The pendant from the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode, “The Inner Light.” It’s hands down one of the best TNG episodes ever written so this is a nice memento. Etsy also has paintings of Picard as Kamin playing his flute from this episode.
Or, get a sign made out of a favorite Trek quote. Just type in a quote in the search bar on Etsy like this one that Spock says to Kirk in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, “I have been, and always shall be, your friend.” And, check out the creative items that come up like this:
