Better replicate some tissues! The trailer for Star Trek: Discovery season 5 has arrived. And it’s no surprise that it will get emotional during the show’s final season that relaunched the Star Trek Franchise.
Discovery Season 5
This trailer is just the latest look at Discovery season 5. In December 2023, for example, we got a first-look clip featuring Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) and Cleveland “Book” Booker (David Ajala). In the full trailer, however, we see more of the cast back in action.

This includes main Discovery crew members Adira Tal (Blu del Barrio), Saru (Doug Jones), Sylvia Tilly (Mary Wiseman), Joann Owosekun (Oyin Oladejo), Hugh Culber (Wilson Cruz) and Paul Stamets (Anthony Rapp). Also appearing is Jett Reno (Tig Notaro), Saru’s love interest, President T’Rina (Tara Rosling), and Starfleet’s most enigmatic official, Kovich (David Cronenberg).
Thanks to the new trailer, we also get to see some of the (presumed) antagonists in action. These include “Bonnie and Clyde” pair L’ak (Elias Toufexis) and Moll (Eve Harlow) and Starfleet Captain Raynor (Callum Keith Rennie).
The trailer once again teases the season’s plot. However, plenty remains shrouded in mystery. We know the Discovery crew will pursue a powerful artifact across the galaxy. And they’ll be visiting some breathtaking locations along the way.
