Last First Contact: Paramount+ Debuts STAR TREK: DISCOVERY Season 5 Art

With just a fortnight remaining until the first two episodes of Star Trek: Discovery season 5 arrive for streaming, Paramount+ has released four pieces of art to mark the occasion. You can boldly scroll to the bottom of this article to get a look at them for yourself.

Star Trek: Discovery Season 5 Art

Discovery season 5 will see the return of many of the titular ship’s crew members. This includes Captain Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green), the character featured in all four pieces of art.

Also returning for season 5 are Adira Tal (Blu del Barrio), Saru (Doug Jones), Sylvia Tilly (Mary Wiseman), Joann Owosekun (Oyin Oladejo), Hugh Culber (Wilson Cruz) and Paul Stamets (Anthony Rapp). And it isn’t just Starfleet officers: Cleveland “Book” Booker (David Ajala) will also be making his return. In addition, season 5 will introduce a trio of new characters. These are: L’ak (Elias Toufexis), Moll (Eve Harlow) and Starfleet Captain Raynor (Callum Keith Rennie). Also returning are co-showrunners Alex Kurtzman and Michelle Paradise.

So far, little has been revealed about the plot of the final season. However, the official description reveals the crew will be “uncovering a mystery that will send them on an epic adventure across the galaxy to find an ancient power whose very existence has been deliberately hidden for centuries.” However, complications arise, as they aren’t the only individuals pursuing said ancient power.

The first two episodes of Discovery season 5 will be available for streaming on Paramount+ on Thursday, April 4, 2024. Then, the remaining eight episodes will be released one at a time on Thursdays.
