In the video, stars Sonequa Martin-Green and Doug Jones and executive producers/co-showrunners Alex Kurtzman and Michelle Paradise share how excited they are to get back to their Trek family. Production on Star Trek: Discovery will begin on November 2, 2020. The short video doesn’t mention how they will be handling Covid-19 protocols, but we are sure they have everything under control.
Season three kicked off last night, picking up right after Commander Burnham (Martin-Green) was thrown through a wormhole. Over the 13 episode season, the U.S.S. Discovery will find themselves in an unknown future far from their home. They will need to band together alongside some new friends to restore the Federation.
