That’s right, according to Jeff Sneider from The Wrap, we’ve learned that these five actors are on the short list to take on the role of the high school nerd named Peter Parker who is bit by a radioactive spider to turn him in to Spider-Man.
Here are the five actors.
Nat Wolff, who was in The Fault with our Stars.
Asa Butterfield, who played Ender Wiggins in Ender’s Game.
Tom Holland, who was in The Impossible.
Timothee Chalamet, who was in Interstellar
Liam James, who was in The Way Way Back
According to the site, Marvel and Sony will decide which actors will receive test offers sometime next week. None have received offers just yet, but The Wrap says, “multiple sources have confirmed they are strong contenders who are definitely in the mix as of right now.”
