The Spider-Man 3 cast made some interesting reveals today, real and fake. Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon each posted an Instagram featuring a real photo from the movie and their pick for the title page.
The real photos feature the trio, but no real context as to what’s going on. They appear to be looking for something and the photos are kind of dark. As if, they are sneaking around, trying to not get caught. Or maybe Peter (Holland) is trying to not be seen. If you recall, in Spider-Man: Far from Home, J. Jonah Jameson (J. K. Simmons) outed Peter as Spider-Man. That’s the last time we saw the web-slinger.
Today’s reveal brought on a slew of possible, but not real, titles for the third movie. Now … we know the cast can’t reveal anything, but every now and then we get a slip up of information. Holland knows this better than anyone. I think he learned his lesson though. And he’s being funny about being notorious for leaking secrets by creating his own title announcement on Holland’s Instagram. But could these fake titles be clues to the third film?
Holland’s pick, “Phone Home”, clearly has something to do with aliens. Batalon’s IG featured his pick “Home-Wrecker.” That’s confusing. And Zendaya’s IG post was simply, “Home Slice.” I like that! All three were, “So excited to announce the new Spider-Man title.” And that opened the gates to fan made title pages for more “Home” titles. That’s the one thing every title has in common, “Home.” That’s really the only thing we know about the Spider-Man film. It will … or should have the word “Home” in the title. Anyway, check out the photos below.
The Spider-Man film, whatever the title, is expected to premiere on December 17, 2021.
