I know. You’re like, “Wait. Space Force like Trump’s Space Force?” Yes. That. According to Variety, the series is described as “a workplace comedy centered around the people tasked with creating a sixth branch of the armed services.” And, yes. That means that it is entirely possible that this show will be up and running before the actual Space Force is.
This is the second regular television role that Steve Carell has signed on to do in recent weeks. He also committed to playing the male lead in an Apple TV morning show drama opposite Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. That show does not yet have a title.
Space Force has been ordered by Netflix, but there isn’t word on when we’ll be able to get it or how many episodes they’ll make. Regardless, this is amazing news and we are totally excited to see what Space Force has to offer!
