TNT unveiled another action-packed trailer for Snowpiercer Season Three, and we’re prepared to brace for all the sci-fi goodness heading our way!
This new trailer opens with a voiceover from Andre Layton (Daveed Diggs), ushering the passengers of Snowpiercer into a potentially prosperous era. We see old footage from previous seasons, notably shots of Melanie (Jennifer Connelly), spliced with new scenes from the upcoming season.

After dissecting Melanie’s vital discovery from last season, Layton, Bennett (Iddo Goldberg), Alex (Rowan Blanchard), Bess (Mickey Sumner) and Josie (Katie McGuinness) decide to retrieve the rest of Snowpiercer to share the good news. With scientific evidence that the Earth is slowly reheating, it’s time to find a new place to call home.
Of course, the insidious Wilford (Sean Bean) believes it’s his way or the highway, declaring, “Hope is a slogan; an empty promise.” We get a glimpse of how Wilford treats Ruth (Alison Wright) aboard Snowpiercer since she was, unfortunately, separated from Layton in last season’s finale.
Layton and co. also meet Asha (Archie Panjabi), who survived for eight years by herself. She informs them of the promise of “New Eden.”
Despite hearing Wilford decry “hope,” Ruth believes it still exists. I think it’s safe to say “hope” is the crux of Season Three, an intriguing parallel to our world.
We also see what appears to be LJ (Annalise Basso) dancing in wedding garb with Osweiller (Sam Otto) and Josie kissing Bennett. It’s proof positive that even amid the apocalypse, love still blooms.
As of now, the show keeps mum regarding whether Melanie survived, which leads me to believe we’ll at least see her in flashbacks.
Prepare to perpetually circle the globe when Snowpiercer Season Three premieres on TNT on Monday, January 24. Watch the trailer below!
