The train never stops, Snowpiercer fans, and that rings particularly true today! Our Andre Layton, a.k.a. Daveed Diggs, shared a brief clip on Thursday bearing good tidings. The post-apocalyptic thriller has been renewed for a fourth season courtesy of TNT!

In the aforementioned clip, Diggs is joined by fellow cast members Mickey Sumner (Bess Till), Rowan Blanchard (Alex Cavill), Iddo Goldberg (Bennett Knox) and Sheila Vand (Zarah Ferami).

Now, Diggs himself just finished filming Snowpiercer‘s third season this week. In February, Variety announced that The Good Wife veteran Archie Panjabi would board the Eternal Engine for Season Three as Asha. Details regarding her character have remained under lock and key. Mike O’Malley (Sam Roche) and Chelsea Harris (Sykes) have been promoted to series regulars.

The popular sci-fi series wrapped its second season on the air back in March. “Into the White” left a handful of character fates in limbo. Melanie Cavill (Jennifer Connellyappeared to have perished following her extended stay at the research station. Thankfully, TVLine revealed Connelly would return for Season Three.

Javier de la Torre (Roberto Urbina) also appeared to have met his end following a brutal attack from Wilford’s dog. But Urbina was recently in Vancouver with the Snowpiercer gang, so there’s hope he survived.

Essentially, a slew of lives are hanging in the balance, but that’s par for the course when you’re on a dystopian sci-fi show.

Snowpiercer has been a boon for TNT, rising through the ranks as its most popular series to date. Unsurprisingly, the network chose to grant an early fourth season renewal for the little engine that could.

You can watch Diggs’ Season Four announcement below. Snowpiercer will return for Season Three on TNT sometime early next year.
