Thank goodness for the internet! I had very strong memories of this animated movie, The Snowman, from my childhood and for the longest time could not find it anywhere!
Directed by Dianne Jackson, music by Howard Blake and written by Raymond Briggs, it is a story about a boy and his encounters with a magical snowman. Beautifully animated, it has a very melancholy and sweet vibe.
