We’ve got some bad news for all of you fans of The Flash on the CW — it’s taking a one week hiatus. There is no The Flash next week. We know, we know, we’re super sad too, but no worries as it’s just one week. The series will return with an all new episode on Tuesday the 15th of November.
And boy oh boy does that episode look like it’ll be every bit of a doozy. If you’ve been watching The Flash, then you should already know that Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) went back in time and changed the events around his mother’s death and, thereby created an entirely new timeline that they’ve called Flashpoint. In this alternate timeline, Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) was The Flash. However, when Barry changed everything back to the way it was and returned to his previous timeline (more or less), Wally no longer had his speedster powers, though he does seem to know he’s missing them in some way.
Now, there’s a new villain named Doctor Alchemy who seems to be able to restore the powers to meta-humans who lost those powers when the Flashpoint timeline switched back to the original. Now it appears that Alchemy has set his sights on Wally West. We’re not certain if this means West is getting his powers back or not, but it’s a forgone conclusion that he’ll get them back at some point.
