Syfy’s 12 Monkeys has now proven what every apocalypse movie/book/television show has always said: people are selfish and personal survival is what is most important – not saving humanity. Depressing, right? But I’ll be right back on Friday night to watch another heaping helping of depressing dystopia. Yay!
So Katrina really doesn’t want to stop the plague, she wants to erase her pain and have her daughter back. Cole wants to go back to Cassandra and Ramse now wants to save this timeline now that he knows he has a son.
In this sneak peek, it looks like Ramse has taken off with his family and is trying to sabotage the splintering/time travel program. Meanwhile, a group of female survivors passes by with a box that has the Army of the 12 Monkeys insignia on it.
We got a glimpse of how this all-female group may have gotten started on last week’s episode when Jennifer Goines was preach-afying to some young girls. This is a familiar sci-fi trope. One that I do like. Remember the all-female survivor groups in Y the Last Man?
