The Smithsonian unveiled a Presidential portrait of Kevin Spacey’s character Frank Underwood from the hit Netflix series, House of Cards.  The portrait will actually be displayed at The Smithsonian during the real-life American Election Season.

The amazing portrait was created by artist Jonathan Yeo. The Smithsonian itself, got into the fun of the show and had a real unveiling with Spacey accepting in character as Underwood. The fictional president’s right hand man, Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly) was in the audience in character along with an invited guests including members of the actual White House press corps.

Netflix put together a brilliant video that has the dark tone of all the fictional election promos that they’ve released so far to market Season 3 of House of Cards. The video begins at the White House with Underwood and Stamper as they are preparing to go to the unveiling. Underwood breaks the fourth wall a few times, as he’s famously wont to do, to much satisfaction. His comments as he looks at a Ronald Reagan portrait are nothing short of perfect.

Watch the video, March 4th can’t get here soon enough.
