Ant-Man and the Wasp

There’s no resting for the MCU. The new Ant-Man and the Wasp trailer is here! There is so much action, you get winded just watching it.

From what we know of the previous trailer, Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) got into a little trouble with the FBI after Captain America: Civil War.  That also put eyes on Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and his daughter Hope (Evangeline Lily).  So that pretty much took Ant-Man out of the game and the trio went on the run from the feds. But that hasn’t kept Ant-Man from fighting crime.

As for Hope, at the end of Ant-Man, Dr. Pym revealed the Wasp suit that he made for her. She wasn’t with Scott in Captain America: Civil War.  Scott could have avoided capture if she was.  Even Scott’s daughter Cassie (Abby Ryder Fortson) believes he needs some help.

In the latest trailer, we see that the FBI are the least of their worries. According to that ever-so-descriptive Luis (Michael Pena), Pym opens the quantum realm and the Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) is released. She steals his tech and wants to take over the world. The thing about fighting Ghost is that she moves faster than the eye can see.  It will take both Ant-Man and the Wasp to stop her.

A new addition to the story is Lawrence Fishburne as Dr. Bill Foster a.k.a. Goliath. In the comic books, Goliath was Pym’s lab assistant and utilized his particle formula to become Goliath. In the trailer, Foster mentions that he worked with Pym on a project called Goliath. Foster reveals that Goliath got as big as 21 feet. Scott has him beat with 65 feet. SMH.

There are so many fight sequences in this trailer which is awesome! Lots of ups and downs. We get the first look at the Ghost unmasked, but have yet to see Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer). There are a couple of scenes in the quantum realm, so she has to eventually show up.
