We’re Staying in the Silo

The future is set in stone for sci-fi hit Silo. Apple has renewed the Rebecca Ferguson-led series for Seasons 3 and 4. Furthermore, the fourth season will be the show’s last as it adapts the complete story of Hugh Howey’s titular dystopian trilogy.

In addition, showrunner and executive producer Graham Yost had this to say regarding the series’ double-season renewal:

“It has been a richly rewarding experience to adapt Hugh’s epic novels with our partners at Apple, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring this complete story to the screen over the course of four seasons. With the final two chapters of Silo, we can’t wait to give fans of the show an incredibly satisfying conclusion to the many mysteries and unanswered questions contained within the walls of these silos.”

Star and executive producer Rebecca Ferguson, who leads the charge as fearless engineer Juliette Nichols, shared her joy in breathing life into this story:

“I’ve loved every minute of bringing Juliette to the screen and am immensely proud of what we’ve all created with Silo since the first episode. I have always felt passionately about telling the entire story contained within Hugh Howey’s books, so I couldn’t be happier that audiences around the world have enthusiastically embraced the show. Alongside our partners at Apple, Graham, and the entire cast and crew, I cannot wait to dive into these final two thought-provoking seasons that will beautifully conclude this dystopian tale.”

As for the Season 2 narrative, Juliette is still in Silo 17 as she attempts to rebuild a suit that’ll allow her to venture outside and return home to save her loved ones. Meanwhile, Bernard tries to quash the brewing rebellion in Silo 18 and make Mechanical the scapegoat after killing Judge Meadows.

However, the truth will inevitably rear its ugly head, as even The Pact-driven Sheriff Billings sees the unraveling of Bernard’s and Robert Sims’ lies to keep the masses in line.
