Season’s creepings, boils and ghouls! This holiday season, everyone’s favorite horror streaming service Shudder is celebrating Christmas the right way: with a killer Santa, werewolves and a support group for shapeshifters. You know. The typical necessities. Cue A Creepshow Holiday Special.
“The Spirit of Christmas is alive and well in true Creepshow fashion,” said showrunner Greg Nicotero . “Reimagining how we look at the holidays and Santa Claus with an outrageous ensemble cast, a myriad of creepy crawlies and a few thrills and chills shouldn’t be missed.” Thus, A Creepshow Holiday Special is born.

In the upcoming hour-long special, “Shapeshifters Anonymous,” an anxious man begins experiencing random blackouts and fears he’s responsible for a string of local murders. He soon discovers these lapses in time are a result of a very unique condition. This condition leads him to an unusual support group looking for answers. What he finds is an army populated entirely of bloodthirsty, weapon-wielding Santa Clauses.
Based on a short story by J.A. Konrath, “Shapeshifters Anonymous” is written and directed by Greg Nicotero. It stars Anna Camp and Adam Pally.
