You ready? Good, ’cause you’re goin’. On Tuesday, Hulu greenlit Letterkenny spin-off and beloved comedy Shoresy for Season 2. Per a press release from Hulu, the hockey-themed Canadian series will return exclusively to the streamer for a six-episode round two.

Here’s a synopsis of the series per Hulu:

“The series follows the foul-mouthed, chirp-serving, mother-loving, fan-favorite character, Shoresy (Jared Keeso), and the embattled Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs as they continue their quest to never lose again. Production is set to begin in Sudbury this spring. Shoresy is created by and stars Jared Keeso and is produced by New Metric Media in association with Play Fun Games.”

Keeso is also an executive producer alongside Jacob Tierney (Glen on Letterkenny), who directed all six episodes of Season 1. Kaniehtiio Horn (Tanis on Letterkenny) is a producer.

If you recall, Season 1 ends with the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs losing the championship to the Soo Cyclones. Despite that loss, Nat (Tasya Teles) decides not to fold the team and fund them for another season. Shoresy persuades the Bulldogs to play dirty like him, so the Cyclones will think twice before squaring off again in the playoffs.

We’ve got quite the player roster for Season 2. Returning besides Keeso and Teles is Harlan Blayne Kytwayhat as Sanguinet, Blair Lamora as Ziigwan, Keilani Rose as Miigwan, Jonathan-Ismael Diaby as Dolo, Terry Ryan as Hitch, Ryan McDonell as Michaels, Max Bouffard as JJ Frankie JJ, and Andrew Antsanen as Goody; with Jon Mirasty, Brandon Nolan and Jordan Nolan as the three Jims (f*ckin’ beauties) and Keegan Long as Liam and Bourke Cazabon as Cory.

I’m ready to reunite with our Bulldogs and our fave chirper and mother lover, Shoresy. This series took me by surprise. While boasting Letterkenny-style rapid-fire dialogue, clever wordplay and solid comedic performances, it also delivers unexpectedly heartwarming depth and nuance. Bring on Season 2.
