We open with Shoresy (Jared Keeso) urinating on the side of the Soo Hunt’s bus. Later, Shoresy and Sanguinet (Harlan Blayne Kytwayhat) gossip with Nat (Tasya Teles), Miigwan (Keilani Elizabeth Rose) and Ziigwan (Blair Lamora) about the Soo Hunt star player getting his fun on at the local strip joint. Ziig knows because she was there, having a blast with a hot stripper. I love this journey for Ziig. Get it, girl. Anyway, they should capitalize on the fact that this player won’t be in tip-top shape come game time.
Then, Ziig wonders why the Jims are always late. Well, have you ever heard of Reach for the Top? Nat orders Shoresy and Sanguinet not to lose sight of the following American players: Belson, Welson, Bilson and Wilson. That’s a mouthful.
Even our star commentators, Benny (Jacob Tierney) and Remy (Jonathan Torrens), struggle to rattle off the above names. I love that Tierney and Torrens are back for this. Even though they aren’t playing the same characters, it still feels like a taste of Letterkenny. Next, our Bulldogs hit the ice for the big game. Shoresy chirps away at the Americans, getting under their skin as only he can.

Meanwhile, Cory (Bourke Cazabon) and Liam (Keegan Long) film the match for the players while discussing their latest lady companions. Something’s up with our boys. Firstly, they aren’t winning any bouts of fisticuffs against the Soo Hunt. Secondly, the Jims (Jon Mirasty, Brandon Nolan, Jordan Nolan) don’t have their heads in the game. How is this possible? They’re bona fide, certified beauts. They set the tone.
Then, Sanguinet gives his team a pep talk before heading out. Dolo (Jonathan-Ismaël Diaby), Hitch (Terry Ryan), JJ Frankie JJ (Max Bouffard), Goody (Andrew Antsanen) and the Jims prepare for a fight to remember. Shoresy takes his requisite dump while leaving the stall door open. That’s what the champs do.
Things aren’t looking great for the b’ys. Sure, nobody can triumph over the Americans in a physical fight, but our team is also losing on the ice. At one point, Shoresy and Sanguinet discuss their next moves. Sanguinet suggests giving Fish (Jacob Smith) a shot. Yes, he hasn’t scored a goal in a game in some time, but they’re running out of options. Shoresy reluctantly agrees to this.

While sitting in the locker room, Shoresy tells Fish he’s going out on the ice. He will score a goal. Fish wonders what will happen if he doesn’t. Sanguinet nonchalantly informs him that he’ll be cut. Uh-oh. The stakes are high. Thankfully, Fish gets out there and surprises them all — he snags a goal. Finally! The Bulldogs eek by with a narrow win. Fish scolds Shoresy and Sanguinet for threatening the goal out of him. He didn’t like being under that pressure. However, his team and the fans love him right now, so…
Later, Nat, Miigwan and Ziigwan lead Shoresy to his next project: an interview with Jory Jordan (Maclean Fish). Shoresy wonders if he’s a Make-a-Wish kid or something. Admittedly, Keeso’s delivery here made me laugh. Nat claims it’s for the community. Shoresy sits down with Jory, who proceeds to ask him rapid-fire personal questions from himself and the fans. Some of them cut Shoresy to the quick. He looks like he’s about to cry. Shoresy storms off after Jory apologizes for his inability to have kids. Not sure how we got there.
Nat, Miig and Ziig chastise Shoresy for everything that’s transpired: his failure of an interview with Jory, Frankie being distracted and Sanguinet threatening to cut Fish. Oh, and the other players have their heads in mitts and Michaels is still acting peculiar. And the Jims didn’t set the tone (Have you ever heard of Reach for the Top?). Nat orders Shoresy to fix it all.

Miigwan finds it hot that Sanguinet is turning into Shoresy, at least as far as having an obsession with winning is concerned. Suddenly, one of the Soo Hunt players, Schnurr (Neil Clark), walks in and tells Nat that all three shower heads in the visitors’ section are clogged. He imparts advice on how to remedy the problem. Nat looks enthralled. After he departs, Miig and Ziig notice her knees are shaking. She’s transfixed. They remind her that they don’t date “sluts,” they just take them down. That’s when Nat declares, “I’m going to f*ck that slut.”
Get it, girl.
