One of the most anticipated Marvel films EVER has a brand new trailer. Captain Marvel debuted the second official trailer during Monday Night Football and it’s amazing. Brie Larson‘s Carol Danvers is the heroine we’ve been looking for and she’s going to be kicking all sorts of butt!
In this trailer, we learn a lot more about just what’s going on. Skrulls have invaded Earth and they’re “the bad guys”, while Kree, like Carol Danvers, are the “noble warrior heroes” who have fought in a long war against the Skrulls. When she comes to Earth, however, she realizes that she’s not who she believes she is. She has memories of a life on our planet. While she was saved by the Kree and they helped her become the warrior she is, something isn’t sitting right with her. Something in her past is the “key” to everything happening. And when incensed to fight in the war, she stands up to them and decides she’s going to stop the war.

WOW, this is this a fun trailer! We have so much more information about where the plot is going but more importantly – we get to see her in action – flying through space and blasting away baddies! She’s wearing the helmet! Ahhh! I don’t think anyone can walk away from this trailer not being excited to see what’s next. She’s the most powerful hero in the MCU and it’s pretty easy to see why. I’m definitely interested in seeing why her past on Earth affects the Kree and Skrull war. Is it only because she becomes independent of them? Ugh, we need to go re-watch the trailer a million times!
Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think! Are you as excited as we are? Be sure to come back to Geek Girl Authority for more Captain Marvel news.
