Just say the word! DC FanDome unleashed some behind-the-scenes footage for Shazam! Fury of the Gods, the highly anticipated sequel to 2019’s well-loved Shazam!
The clip kicks off with Shazam himself, Zachary Levi, ushering us into this new world. We learn that more Greek mythology comes into play this go-round, including mythological creatures like minotaurs, harpies and dragons. Levi gushes about the more extensive action sequences, upgraded superhero suits and grander setpieces.

As for locations, Shazam! Fury of the Gods takes us from Athens, Greece, to Philadelphia, the Rock of Eternity, the Library of Eternity and the Realm of the Gods.
Probably the most exciting aspect of this teaser is the reveal of Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu in action as Hespera and Kalypso, respectively. In addition, the return of Djimon Hounsou as Wizard. We also get a first look at Rachel Zegler in the upcoming sequel.
The behind-the-scenes clip showcases our heroes and foes kicking ass and taking names. Everyone involved promises a more epic adventure with higher stakes, imposing gods and plenty of superhero fun.
I can’t wait to see Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu enthrall us as Hespera and Kalypso, and, of course, the return of the charming Zachary Levi as the titular hero. Bring it on!
