Apple+ is feeling very confident and renewal happy!  It’s renewed M. Night Shyamalan’s thriller series Servant for a second season.  The first season premieres on Thanksgiving.

Servant stars Lauren Ambrose and Toby Kebbell as a Philadelphia couple mourning the loss of their baby.  They get a replacement baby… a fake one… that looks creepily real.  And, they get a nanny… a real one… that is creepily cool with the fake baby.  If you’ve seen any of the trailers, you know how freaky this show looks.  So, we weren’t totally surprised that Apple+ would put their weight behind it.  Particularly because they’re kind of into that right now.

Four other series have been renewed for a sophomore season right out of the Apple+ gate.  Dickinson, For All Mankind, The Morning Show and See all got the same green light as Servant within 6 days of launch.  The Hollywood Reporter reported Friday.

The first three episodes of Servant are slated to start streaming on Thanksgiving day.  The rest of the 10-episode first season will air weekly on Fridays.
