While it’s only been a few months since the July Ubisoft Forward conference, it seems that the folks behind Ubisoft had some more exciting announcements that they wanted to share! Throughout the live stream, we got a look at some upcoming releases, thrilling new titles, and even a worldwide event! In case you missed it, here are all of the trailers and announcements from the September Ubisoft Forward.
Immortals Fenyx Rising
Kicking off the September Ubisoft Forward live stream was a world-premiere look at Immortals Fenyx Rising. If this title looks eerily familiar, it’s because it originally appeared during Ubisoft’s E3 2019 presentation under a different name: Gods and Monsters. This title is a 3D open-world adventure game in which you are tasked with saving the Greek gods. In this stylized epic, players can look forward to exploring various realms full of stories, puzzles, and secrets rooted in Greek Mythology. The game also features a unique storytelling element – both Zeus and Prometheus narrate it. And if you are a Google Stadia user, you can look forward to accessing an exclusive demo before launch!
Immortals Fenyx Rising will release on December 3rd, 2020 for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X, Playstation 5, and PC through the Epic Games Store, Uplay, and Google Stadia.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake
Next, we got a glimpse at Ubisoft’s first-ever full remake of a game: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. It’s been over 17 years since the original title made its debut. This remake features the same storyline and characters, but with enhanced visuals and an improved combat system. Additionally, Yuri Lowenthal returns to reprise his role as “The Prince” in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake. This title is a classic and a favorite for many of us here at Geek Girl Authority, so we especially can’t wait to get our hands on this remake!
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake will be available on January 21st, 2021 for the PC through the Epic Games Store and Uplay, Xbox One, and PS4.

Rainbow Six Siege
Arguably, one of the September Ubisoft Forward’s most significant announcements was that Rainbow Six Siege would hold its first-ever World Cup. The Rainbow Six World Cup is set to take place in 2021 and will feature more than 35 countries. Even Tony Parker, renowned Esports fan and basketball player, is set to be the event’s official ambassador. Rainbow Six Siege has steadily climbed the ESports ladder, so it is exciting to see Ubisoft’s first big Esports competition. We’re looking forward to hearing more information about this event and hope that COVID-19 does not impact it. And for all of you Rainbow Six Siege players, get ready to gear up for the biggest season to date! Operation Shadow Legacy will have improved features, a rework of the Chalet map, and the debut of Sam Fisher, from Tom Clancy‘s Splinter Cell franchise.
Rainbow Six Siege Operation Shadow Legacy will be available for all players on September 17th, 2020.
Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game Complete Edition
Watch Dogs: Legion
Watch Dogs: Legion is only one month away from release, and during the live stream, we got an exclusive look at how the recruitment system will work in the game! In this title, you have the chance to recruit anyone AND everyone to help DedSec’s fight. While each character has their own set of specific skills, you can ultimately equip each individual with unlockable weapons and gadgets. You’ll also find Legendary Recruits throughout the game, including a Beekeeper that can sick bees on enemies!
Additionally, UK artist Stormzy will not only have his music featured in the game, but there will also be a unique “Fall on my Enemies” mission, inspired by his latest hit “Rainfall.” And for fans of the original Watch Dogs game, you’ll be excited to hear that Aiden Pearce is making his official return in Watch Dogs: Legion. He will be recruitable in the game, and there will even be an Aiden Pearce focused DLC that will release after the game’s launch.
Watch Dogs: Legion will be available on October 29th, 2020 for the PC through the Epic Games Store and UPlay, Xbox One, and PS4.
