Munich-based developer SenAm Games unveiled their debut game today, Hauma. It is a cinematic heavy, noir interactive graphic novel that tells the story of Judith. She is a former boxing champion and detective who finds her purpose within a cold case. But this case, well its more than just a simple murder. It spans thousands of years, worldwide conspiracy, mysterious cults and even a sacrifice. The not-to-be-messed-with protagonist will be diving into the world with one goal – to close this case.

Players will experience player agency, exploration, vast dialogue choices and puzzle-solving detevitive gameplay. Hauma features investigation mechanics that will let players piece together clues and evidence. We will also be able to explore the beautiful that were inspired by historical and mythological folklore. Gameplay is married with fully voiced cast of charismatic charaters to bring the story to life. So, grab your best sleuthing outfit and get ready to solve this mystery.

The trailer really nails down the mysterious atmosphere of Hauma. It mentions prophecies, mysterious cults, a worldwide conspiracy and so much more. We also get a look at how the dialogue trees are set up. The most defining part of the trailer however, comes with the artstyle and voice lines. SenAm Games did not lie when they said that they found the most charismatic voice actors. You can feel Judith’s desperation and the sass of the two cult members. Mix that with the graphic novel art and we have a game that I must play.

Hauma will release in 2021 on PC though Steam. Check out the trailer and game images below! Let us know how excited you are to solve this case!
