Why Marvel, do you feel the need to drop these trailers at midnight on the east coast? Did I do something wrong? Regardless can you tell how excited I am to have woken up to the new Black Widow trailer. The first one introduced us to Natasha’s (Scarlett Johansson) family Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Red Guardian (David Harbour), and Melina Vostokoff (Rachel Weisz). This second trailer introduces us to the action as well as the big bad villain, Taskmaster. Marvel and director Cate Shortland have done a great job keeping the casting for Taskmaster under wraps.

The new Black Widow trailer also helps to set up the story just a bit more for fans. We know that the film takes place after the events of Captain America: Civil War and before Avengers: Infinity War so it makes sense that Natasha is on the run. Well now we know that her purpose of getting the family back together is to fight another group of assassins trained just like herself. Its during this that I assume she comes face to face with the movies actual villain. With less than four months I hope we get another look with some more action and maybe spotlight some more characters. Like a mask free Taskmaster. So we finally know who they are.

Black Widow is scheduled to release on May 1, 2020. Check back with us here and follow Marvel on Twitter to keep up to date with exciting news!
