The panel included the debut of the Picard season three trailer. This featured glimpses of the updated versions of the Star Trek: The Next Generation bridge crew including Geordi LaForge (LeVar Burton), Worf (Michael Dorn), William T. Riker (Jonathan Frakes), Doctor Beverly Crusher (McFadden), and Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis). In addition, Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan) appears in a Starfleet uniform, and Raffi (Michelle Hurd) will be returning as well.
Only one clue about the season’s much-anticipated villain was revealed during the Star Trek universe panel. The character uses “she/her” pronouns!
Star Trek: Lower Decks Season Three
The Lower Decks segment of the Star Trek Universe panel featured several stars of the show, including Tawny Newsome (Ensign Beckett Mariner), Jack Quaid (Ensign Bradward Boimler), Noël Wells (Ensign D’Vana Tendi), and Dawnn Lewis (Captain Carol Freeman). Also in attendance was series creator and executive producer Mike McMahan, as well as executive producers Kurtzman and Roddenberry.

During the panel, the full season three trailer was revealed. Among the main exciting details included was the revelation that we’ll be seeing Deep Space Nine!
The third season of Lower Decks will debut Thursday, August 25 2022 on Paramount Plus.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season Two
Strange New Worlds has been a breakout hit for Paramount Plus, and so the show’s first appearance in Hall H is especially sweet! The Star Trek universe panelists included series stars Anson Mount (Captain Christopher Pike), Ethan Peck (Spock), Christina Chong (La’An Noonien-Singh), Celia Rose Gooding (Nyoto Uhura), and Paul Wesley (James T. Kirk). Additional panelists included executive producers Henry Alonso Myers, Kurtzman, and Roddenberry.

One major revelation: the second season of Strange New Worlds will feature a Lower Decks crossover episode. This means the Lower Decks cast will appear in live action for the first time! This episode will be directed by Number One himself, Frakes.
Because it was Wesley’s birthday, he was presented with a cake and the whole of Hall H called to him. We’ll be seeing more of Kirk in the second season of Strange New Worlds.
And that’s not all we have to look forward to in season two. According to Chong, “If you thought episode 8 was over the top then there is a couple of episodes that top that in season 2.”
