The Walking Dead comes to a close this fall, but there’s still a lot of story to tell. The cast and crew were on hand at San Diego Comic Con to present the first trailer (for the final time) for the final eight episodes. Brace yourself. It will probably get worse before it gets better.

After entering into an alliance with the Commonwealth, Team Family found themselves divided. Alexandria is flourishing while rebuilding the community. Hilltop is barely making it. And Oceanside chooses to stay loyal to Hilltop. The Commonwealth just seems too good to be true. And it is. People have disappeared. There is a clear divide among the haves and the have nots. And the presumed leader of the Commonwealth, is oblivious to what’s going on outside of their walls … or is she? Daryl (Norman Reedus), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Carol (Melissa McBride) and Aaron (Ross Marquand) lead the coming rebellion that will have catastrophic consequences.

The final first trailer for the third part of season 11 takes you on an emotional journey. And then it will make your blood pressure rise, because … Team Family is in jeopardy. It starts off with some of the most memorable scenes from the past 11 seasons. And features some of the most beloved and unforgettable characters that have crossed out paths. And it all leads to war.
We all know this was coming. Lance Hornsby (Josh Hamilton) is a force to be reckoned with, but apparently, so are the Miltons. Team Family is spread out everywhere. But it’s not just the Commonwealth stormtroopers that our heroes have to worry about. They also have worry about walkers … lots of them.
From the looks of things, the Commonwealth falls and that may be because of Maggie and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) who use the Whisperer tactic to get inside. But it may be more than Team Family can handle. By the end of the trailer, it’s hard to tell who lives and who dies. What’s really scary … Aaron says there are walkers who can climb walls and open doors. It’s a whole new ballgame.
