Last night during Marvel’s epically packed panel at SDCC 2022, fans were gifted an emotionally charged teaser trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. It served to get fans excited for the upcoming sequel to Black Panther while also paying tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman. This morning, The Hollywood Reporter dropped some more Black Panther news. Funko, the company behind the cute little figures with big heads and beady eyes, have announced a few pieces from their upcoming collection for the Marvel movie.

While we suspect this isn’t the entire collection, Funko has shared images of eight figures and two key chain figures. These include Tenoch Huerta‘s Namor, Letitia Wright‘s Shuri in Sun Bird, Dominique Thorne’s Riri Williams in her Ironheart MK1 armor, Winston Duke‘s M’Baku, Angela Bassett‘s Queen Ramonda, Danai Gurira‘s Okoye, Attuma and Namora. The two small key chain figures are Namor and Riri Williams.
The Funko Pop figures give us another peek into the characters’ designs in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Namor’s figure resembles a near exact replica of the suit we saw from the teaser. But this is the first time we are witnessing Riri Williams suited up. If this is even a fraction of how awesome the suit is going to look – we can’t wait. These Funko Pops are perfect additions to any collection, Marvel or otherwise.

The only downside to this announcement is that we need to wait until October 1, 2022, before we can purchase them! The Shuri superdeluxe figure will go for $30, while the others will be priced at $12. The two keychains will sell for $5.
