The infamous killer doll is back with a vengeance in the new Chucky season 2 teaser trailer released during San Diego Comic-Con. It looks like fans can expect plenty of thrills and chills in the upcoming episodes.
Season 1 picked up after the events of Cult of Chucky. At the end of the first season, it seems as if our protagonists have won. In the final scenes, Chucky (Brad Dourif) and Tiffany’s (Jennifer Tilly) van is seen exploding, but in Chucky’s own words, he always comes back.

In the teaser trailer, we see Jake (Zackary Arthur), Lexie (Alyvia Alyn) and Devon (Björgvin Arnarson) trying to move on with their lives. Each one has developed their own form of coping mechanism. Some are less healthy than others. We also get a first look at Tiffany and Chucky’s children, Glen and Glenda.
One of the most notable moments in the trailer is when an unsuspecting nun opens a package containing the killer doll. Chucky says, “Hi, I’m Chucky. Wanna pray?” Also, there is a fourth wall break at the end of the trailer where the plastic terror directly addresses the audience. You do not want to miss that.

The series also stars Fiona Dourif, Devon Sawa, Alex Vincent and Lachlan Watson as Glen and Glenda. The second season premieres on October 5 on USA and SyFy.
