Black Adam stands among debris and rubble in a street while looking angry.

Who’s ready for The Rock’s DC Extended Universe arrival? Today in Comic-Con’s Hall H, fans got a sneak peek at a new trailer for the upcoming Black Adam movie. Read on to learn what we know so far.

The trailer opens with a voiceover from Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam declaring  “My powers are not a gift…but a curse. Born out of rage.” People flee in terror and get thrown from cliffs, planes and spears fall from the sky and there are tons of explosions.

The footage continues with glimpses of Hawkman (Aldis Hodge), Atom Smasher (Noah Centineo), Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell) and Doctor Fate (Pierce Brosnan), all members of the Justice Society of America. They’re all trying to subdue Black Adam with fairly low levels of success. Although she wasn’t in the trailer Viola Davis is also set to return as Amanda Waller. She joins additional cast members Sarah Shahi and Marwan Kenzari, among others.

Black Adam is scheduled for an October 21 release, and we’ll certainly have more news as that date approaches! Watch the trailer here, and stay tuned for more DCEU updates as San Diego Comic-Con continues this weekend.
